In fact, I learned this song out of a challenge. I have this habit of yelling at home and call it high pitch singing and once this song was aired on TV, my cousin Sandeep said, " Now this is one song that you cant attempt. It is too high pitched towards the end." Sandeeps statement pinched me at the wrong place and so I decided to give it a try. Ever since that, like I mentioned, this has become a national anthem for me. Thanks to Sandeep !
Palash Sen, the lead singer of Euphoria, during one of his concerts in Chennai(I think it is IIT Sarang) came up with the fact that he had originally made this song keeping all the mothers in mind. He also stated that even the lyrics at some portions in the song point to a mother. He even dedicated this song to all the mothers present at that time in the event before singing. Wonder then why the band had to change the perspective of the song after it was created !!!
